UPS

A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is a brick like box that provides for outlets to keep certain devices running during a power outage. For example, you might have a UPS for your computer. If the power goes out, you would be able to safely shut down your computer without much issue. Many also have surge only outlets which will not provide power during an outage. In my instance, I will need 4. One of them will go into the bedroom though. Out of the remaining three, 1 will provide power to the printer, and charging station, 1 will provide power for the TV, and cable modem, and the last one will be for the computer, speakers and iPod. The one in the bedroom will be focused on functioning as a surge protector since all of the connections there will be for charging. You can find the UPS I am looking at from Amazon for $80 each.
